I’m going to keep the blog more active, now a few more people have stopped by (thanks as always, indiegames.com, and others who covered the trailer.) Hello to any new readers who’ve stopped by, welcome to superflat world!
Here is my screenshot saturday, which shows the new exterior area (it’s actually the first location I worked on two years ago, greatly changed. Feels strange to be back there though!)
You can also see the new lighting stuff going on, the improved grain and contrast etc, which I’ve been spending time on.

As an aspiring game/indie developer myself, i’m interested in how you managed to get this grain & contrast effect in your game. I’ve seen this in other games and would like to mimick it. I’ve also noticed this grainy look in Soul Brother as well. Would you be interested in doing a tutorial/brief explanation on your blog?

Wow. I cannot wait for this to be finished. Are there any plans to bring this to iOS? If not you should seriously consider it. I think there’s a massive revenue that you could tap into. This game already looks like it could easily have the same impact that Sword & Sworcery did (by SuperBrothers) and that is one of the best games I’ve played in a very, very long time. Please consider that as an option. If not how would one play this on say an iPad?
